Hi has their been any news on this because their cars are for sale on Racecarsdirect.com

i was rather disapointed to see them not at the first 3 rounds, i thought they might have had budget issues or something and joined at a later date!

They never managed to attract any drivers! There was just no-one interested in paying out to drive such old cars. Last I heard they were planning on entering cars in the dunlop sport maxx championship and potentially buying some newer S2000 cars for entry in the 2008 BTCC.

They made their debut in the Dunlop Sport Maxx Cup with a Clio for Simon Shaw at Snetterton, and plan on running two Cup cars later this year.

I believe their ambition is still BTCC, but clearly not with the old Astras.

Bit more news for you all. Encke sport are running a Renault Clio in one of the races at the Dunlop Great And British event. They ARE selling there Astras and have some interested parties. They are still planning on entering the BTCC but not this or next year.

All info comes straight from the team at Oulton Park for the Dunlop Great And British today.
