why are the maximum sizes for our avatars so low?

how can we resize our images to fit to the specifications, i dont know how?

I want that image as my avatar but it is 100 x 75 and i cant make it smaller?

I have the exact same problem.

Make the avatars bigger PLEASE!:mad: :(

If they start making the avatars bigger it will make the message space smaller

At the risk of looking like a proper numpty........
How do I get my avatar to be shown? It's uploaded but as you can see it's not there ^^^

Also my member name is just text rather than a hyperlink. Why? :confused:

how can we resize our images to fit to the specifications, i dont know how?

I use a freeware program called "IRFANVIEW" (Google it)

It allows you to do Batch Conversions, so you can resize as many photos as you like and (if you set it correctly) itll resample your image to keep the quality!
I use it for photos I want to stick in a forum gallery, or ones I want to keep but I dont want the original size, or ones I email to people. Once you work out how to use it its GREAT!

If you cant work it out, shout and Ill try to help you!(But I'm no expert:D )
