Has anyone else seen the article in this weeks autosport that has the proposed new wrc car regulations? At last a set of rules that mean that manufacturers that build one off specials that twist the homologation rules, like Peugeouts and Citreons would pretty much be stopped, as the cars have to be tuned up group N-spec models, taking us back to the good old days of Evo vs Impreza. As for Citreon, anyone else heard of a Citreon road car that has a 2litre turbo engine and 4wd? shame its not coming into place until 2012, thats 5 more years of Loeb beating good drivers because his cars had an F1 budget spent on making it so much superior to real rally cars!

Thats cos Citroen need to be good at something cos they are rubbish at making road cars :) and i think those new rules would be a good idea.

I agree I've been put off of watching WRC as it became IMO the most boring form of motorsport on the planet, but with a more level playing field I could be tempted to watch again.

Yes even F1 (IMO) I stopped watching WRC but still kept the faith with F1 and still enjoyed it although it's much much better this year without that cheating bloke in it.
Er what's his name again?
LOL
