How great was it to see my number one driver up there with the big boys. Hughes your doing great. I had a fantastic day at Croft. Was speaking to Hughes as soon as he got to the circuit he is so polite and always happy to talk or take a photo never any troube (Unlike some drivers). It was get to see Fiona finish races without to many problems. WELL DONE KARTWORLD lets hope we have more of the same for the rest of the season. I'll be at every race meet cheering you both on GO HUGHES GO LEGGATE.

Fiona actually had a lot more problems than were imediately obvious;

Hopefully Oulton park will finally signal a change in her BTCC fortunes!

One problem with that. How can problems with the car be the drivers fault? Dont get me wrong the car is only as good as the driver but both of your examples do a fantastic job.

Id be interested to know what Fiona's laptimes were for Croft.
That page seems full of lame excuses, fair enough about the brakes in qualifying but she is moaning about having to race people in the races. Erm its a race love, thats the whole point, they dont just move over...
I was watching at Croft. Race 3 Hughes did brilliantly. At one point Hughes was coming down the pit straight with the main pack while Fiona was just heading through the chicane. She was obviously slower and that said to me it was the driver not the car.
Money maybe gets you a car but not the speed.

Jason showed fantastic racecraft keeping the big boys (????? That can't be right - Jason's the big boy ;) ) behind him until he ran wide and opened the floodgates.
