Can anyone tell me why BH Indy is used twice while GP isn't at all?

As I am sure you are aware, a great deal of work is being done to the Grand Prix circuit to improve safety- i.e. the Barry Sheene corner is being made. The GP track therefore is not available for the May 5 meeting.
However, the Indy circuit is being used on the August meeting, because, I believe, the GP circuit is only open at certain times of the year.

I believe they are limited to how many times a year they can use the GP circuit. How many times that is I don't know!
I seem to think I read that just to be different the Seat Cupra Cup is going to run on both circuits at the same meeting - now that will be interesting!:)

I am just guessing here, but maybe noise restrictions are an issue, as there is a housing estate adjacent to it.

I think that Brands are only allowed to use the GP circuit on a certain number of days each season because of complaints about the noise from residents!!!
Didn't they realise there was a race circuit there when they bought their houses?????? I for one would love to live that close to a track!
