I've just heard that Eoin will have to miss Oulton due to not having an Engine available to use for the weekend after his blow up at Croft. They have one spare but it is nearly up to maximum mileage and so they can't use it this weekend.:( He will be back for Donington though.:)

I missed the Croft race, so i take it, it was a really bad blow up then?

That's bad news. Lets hope he does make it to Donington.

Such a shame that this talented young driver is being held back by a lack of funds. Hopefully the team will enjoy better luck in the remainder of the season.

It must be so frustrating for him being unable to race when he knows that he can be on the pace.

id imagine you'll be right - he has the speed, he has the potential. its just money... cruel world, this BTCC.

you could have a budget of ?1,000,000 and still be running with problems

Just look at Pinkney & Marsh, they kinda prove your point.

Indeed, two 2007 N-Technology factory spec Alfa 156's... did they ever sort out the tyre geometry problem which meant the car went backwards after 7 laps?

Eoin's driving an older spec Alfa and when he's lucky enough to be problem free, he's at the sharp end... awesome driver with bags of talent!

Let's start shaking our tins... nip to Sir Bransons house first ;)

More Realiabilty Problems Today. He Pulled Off On The Warmup Lap On Race 3 And Race 2 His Driveshaft Went!! Unlucky Eoin Murry Or What. I Must Say The Alfas Are The Best Looking On The Grid But For Reliabilty They Must Be The Worst On The Planet!!!!

The touring cars have to be heavily based on the road cars.....

Alfas are Italian.....

So, like with all italian cars (apart from the really expensive ones) things go wrong a lot!
