Hi Alan just got back form watching yet another superb weekend of BTCC racing. You are doing a superb job.

My Question is I was up at Oulton for the Saturday as well and while the BTCC Cars were qualifying you were sat at the pit entrance looking at a timing screen, do you always do this as I have never heard anyone mention it.

During qualifying I control the lights which call the cars onto the weigh scales. The timing screen is for me to monitor what is going on in the session, in order to judge who to call onto the scales.

I do it at every race meeting.
