If you are lucky the infield parking will be open to the public, if not you park just ouside the circuit.

A bit more info - you'll pretty much get directed where to park by the stewards. Rule of thumb, the earlier you get there, the nearer to the track you'll be. The downside is it will most likely take you longer to get out. Swings and roundabouts really...

I usually park at the back of the circuit and get in by the Melbourne hairpin. Though to get in that way on race day you will need a a padock pass..

with all the rain recently they may restrict any infield parking

i'll never forget parking at knockhill last year when it was all rain and absolutely peeing down - there was just mud all over!
croft is quite efficient though

Quite often at the mo, the main parking is on a field the other side of the main road (I forget the name / number, but its the one from the airport to Donny) and there's a scaffold bridge to go over. ONce over the bridge, you enter the circuit at Coppice, where theres the tunnel thru to the infield. then its a relatively short hike towards the Craners for the best views (IMHO :D ). There is then the tunnel a little further along to take you to the paddock areas.
Hope this helps.

if i remember rightly, all the parking on the infield last year was for team parking & hospitality. dis manage to blag my way in but then took ages to get out so you dont gain much really. Anyway, with the rain we keep having, i will proberly stiil be stuck in the mud on the marshalls campsite at silverstone from the weekend before  :D

if you park at the paddock entrance and want to get away sharpish then park at the bottom of the hill and walk up!

If This year is like last year you will not get in on race day this is only for the free loading non paying invited guests of rac, vxr and the likes of, if you buy your ticket with money you will get nothing, and if you complain to the track after months of letters and telephone calls to arrange in field parking before hand you get no response from them, shoddy, never going back to the track again, very poorly organised from start to finish, and also don't waste the money gogin into the grand prix collection either, lifeless an d done with no passion or soul to these beutiful machines.
