Out of all the WTCC drivers on the grid, how many of them have gone to the WTCC via the BTCC?

And when were the drivers driving in the BTCC?

Menu, Tarquini, Thompson, Yvan Muller, Rydell, Robert Huff and Prilaux. That makes 7 drivers

Menu - 1991(?)-2000
Tarquini - 1994 and 1996(?)-2000
Thompson - 1991(?)-2004 and selected rounds in 2006
Muller - 1997-2004 or 2005
Rydell - 1995-2000
Huff - 2004
Priaulx - 2002

These are from memory, so some might be a few years out.

Well you are nearly right . Tarquini didn't have a team in 1998, although he had a few races with Honda in 1999. And muller didn't start in 1997, it was 1998. Thompson i think started in 95 or 96. Menu was 95 i think.

Tarquini did German STW-Cup in 1998/99 but did do a couple of BTCC rounds in 1999 in the third Honda.

Thompson started in 1994, he was Independents' Cup winner in a Peugeot 405

Menu first drove in BTCC in 1991 in the Prodrive BMW Junior team.

Well thanks for reminding me. Didn't start watching the BTCC till 97. My knowledge is not as good as what i think ;)
