In case anyone was wondering, the time for BTCC coverage next Monday (21st) has been announced. Touring Cars (plus all supports) will be on from 12:25-17:30.

That's a hell of a lot of coverage!

Pure heaven, take the phone off the hook and pretend you're not home if somebody comes to the door. :D

This is extremely good news, not just for the BTCC but for the support races too.

Now - do we know when (if) this feast of entertainment is going to be repeated? Or do we have to put the video on long play and keep the fingers crossed?

I will be missing the Motors coverage live unfortunately - but only because I will be there!!!!:D

I am going to all the rounds again this year so will be setting the video and watching the coverage later. Might even be lucky and see some friends on there!:D

I *think* that Motors TV plan to repeat the BTCC races at least on the Monday night, and again the next night after the race. :)

Note Profile of James Thompson on at midnight tonight Sunday.

Motors TV programme guide shows BTCC rounds 1 and 2 replay at 21:00 cet ( 20:00 BST ) on Monday 21 April , and again at
17:00 on Tuesday 22 April for 2 hrs each.

Again we are visiting Mondello so won't see live and wont be home until after reruns on Tuesday.

Have to try and set video and satellite box together :)

Will have to make do with a taped programme, (cheers Mum!!). Hope all those acquaintances from our forum lucky enough to attend Mondello Park, have an absolutely blinding day with gorgeous weather and first class racing.

Can't wait to see it!

By the way, are Edwards and Harvey commentating on the support races?

No, It has been finalised to day that the commentary team for the support races will be Ben Edwards and Gareth Howell!

"Although I'm disappointed not to be driving, I am really pleased that MotorsTV have given me this great opportunity. I'm really grateful to the people that recommended me and I'll try to drop in the name of the website! I am looking forward to working with Ben who is a great commentator and know I will learn a lot from him. I haven't completely given up hope of driving in the BTCC this year, I am still working to put together a deal to appear with an Independent Team, possibly from Thruxton onwards."

that's excellent news that Gareth will be around and even better that he might still appear in a car.

Such a shame Gareth hasn't got a drive for the full season but there's obviously still hope. Great to hear that he will still be around though. Good luck Gareth!
