Seat to change to diesel?

Alan,

If Seat were to change their engines from Petrol to Diesel, would they be given a weight break, or would they gain any weight?

if a BTCC team wish to run a diesel engine, what is the weight that the car has to be run at?

The FIA S2000 regulations, for diesel-engined cars, states that they must carry an additional 30kg's over the similar petrol-engined model.

The exact weight depends on the type of car (i.e. front wheel drive/rear wheel drive, sequential/H pattern gearbox etc).
