Whilst trying not to put a damper on all this optimisim, you have to remember Tom will be driving a brands new, and largely untried, car which will likely take a couple of races to get sorted. Likewise Jim is in an old, heavy, car could struggle for pace against the likes of the 156s and the Civics.
Having said that Tom is likely to be blindingly fast in that little Pug if it holds together, and Accords took the top three steps of the podium at Mondello last year, so it will be interesting whatever happens! I hope all these predictions of the teams first BTCC win come to fruition but just don't get too disappointed if they don't!

Craig - there's no doubt that the Honda is one beast of a car.
Jim's best hopes are getting points in the first few races through attrition and some, ahem, robust driving into the first corner :) but when he gets the new car, I can definately see wins on the cards. Actually, I'll have a nifty with anyone that we'll see both Jim and Tom on the same podium at some point this year. Takers?

I am sure, once both team and driver are used to the car, we will be seeing some very exciting results. But we're not getting too excited about Mondello just yet!

Granted - but are you taking me up on the bet?
If you don't, I will put it down to your great faith in the team and it's drivers;)
Actually, I'm off to see if I can get some odds on this......

I'd not bet against it...

I am sure Craig that John and co will get alot of very vocal support this year, as usual - and that given a little time will produce some good results. Tom and Jim are both competent drivers and deserve success this year. Hope it all comes together.
