ok people who can name the most manufactures to enter the btcc? double points for weird ones! and no i dont have a huge list so we dont have answer sheet

honda - accord, integra, civic, prelude
volvo - 850 estate, 850 glt, s40
nissan - primera gt, primera egt, skyline gtsr
vauxhaull - cavalier, vectra, astra coupe, astra

bmw - 318i, 318is coupe, 320i, m3, m5

toyota - carina e, supra, corolla

best i can do just now - sure ive missed a fair few out

Austin, Morris, Mini, Rover, MG, Triumph, Hillman, Sunbeam, Jaguar, Lotus, Ford, Riley, Jowett, Healey, Borgward, Standard, DKW, Renault, Nissan, Mazda, Toyota, Chevrolet, Vauxhall, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Peugeot, Volvo, Audi, Porsche, Sunbeam, Mitsubishi, Honda, SEAT, Lexus, VW, Maserati, Holden, etc, etc
If you are going back over the 50 year history it will probably be quicker to list the manufacturers who haven't been represented.
