Can I first of all apologise to everyone that we were not streaming on the web at the weekend. It was, as has correctly been reported on here, due to teccy problems, and it was not for the want of trying, not least by our new sponsor who worked very hard indeed to make it happen on the web this weekend. I am really sorry it did not come to fruition on this occasion, and am deeply flattered that you all missed it so much - thank you.

There's been a whole lot going on behind the scenes over the past couple of months in planning for our long term future, and I am grateful to all of you who support our service so loyally for making our service one which is important enough to warrant such forward planning.

As the year goes on, our sponsors have lots of interactive features involved for our broadcasts, including SMS text messaging (say, during the grid walk, to ask questions to drivers), SMS text competitions, and so on. I am still trying to work my way through all of the potential possibilities that we could include this year, and the nice thing is that web streaming is very much planned for our broadcasts!

Apologies that I haven't been able to post here too many details during the winter months - but until things were finalised, it would have been speculation rather than fact, and I didn't want to mislead anyone in any way.

The fact is, TOCA Radio with Fantasy Sports (in association with Victor Chandler) is here again for 2003, and I am so grateful to all of you for your continued support! Thank you!

I thought you did a cracking job at the weekend, Alan, despite the amount of water that must have been getting in your electrics!

Tell me - which really excited you more - the grid girls or a pair of orange 307s!! :p (great choice of illustration on the side of the van btw!!)

Hi all! 105FM is only for Ireland, which is s shame really. FM is always so much nicer, but we have to go with the Radio Authority on which frequency we can use, and FM is generally more difficult to get than AM. So, for the majority of circuits we will be 1602AM as normal, but at Brands, we are always 1269AM.

I went to a meeting at Brands yesterday planning for next weekend, and frankly, I am excited! I was lucky enough to have worked at the Champ Car races at Rockingham for the last couple of years, and they are awesome! Couple that with the full BTCC package and we should have a fever weekend with no mistake!

You'll be able to text us in the studio from trackside or web side, phone the studio, and email us. If you're trackside and you've spotted something significant....tell us! Text us direct into the studio! It's a computerised system that comes direct into the studio which should be with us for the whole of the year.

Even more mega will be the advent of our own official website! They are setting it up as we speak!

Plus on a personal level, I will be wearing overalls next weekend so I understand. Fortunately I have been able to negotiate so that I don't have the wear the set I already have, which make me look pretty much like a small banana.....

And as far as Grid Girls and Pugs go.......that's like asking whether you'd go for the Ferrari or the Porsche!
