I've been wondering the same thing for a while.
Editor1 is the only mod I've seen online for months...

Could be...:D
Actually I've just checked the members list & Mod 1-5 havent been on since Feb this year. Mod6 & Ed1 are still active though.
Editor & Editor2 still seem reasonably active, well in the last couple of months anyway.

Have you thought about applying for a job as a moderator - you'd do a darn sight better job than <deleted>.

Not really, lol, I cant really be impartial without disconnecting myself from being a fan. I dont really wanna do that, besides im sure there is more to the job title than moderating this forum (I've done moderating before & its no fun at all).

You have to disconnect yourself, personally from people & topics alike. You have to appear (at least) to be impartial, something I couldnt do, not with the BTCC anyway.
Apart from that, you have to check registration e-mails, sort out peoples technical issues (where possible), edit posts and try & make forum rules as well known as possible & generally moderate (suprisingly:p ). I also found that slander/liable issues are a very real problem sometimes (something that doesnt seem to be an issue here, thankfully:)), thats basically why I stopped doing it (people cant refrain from name calling when it gets heated sometimes). I moderated a Footy website & unfortunately/fortunately, whichever way you look at it, fans/directors & players alike decided to air their laundry on the site. It was a very stressfull & enlightening period.
I also moderated on a gaming website (for Valve/DoD forum), that was alot more fun & alot less "real". :)

it aint difficult to get lost when i write stuff down cos i forget what i was talking about by the time i reach the end coz i completly forget to use any punctuation of any kind so it turns out to be one big sentence which is almost impossible to read in one breath and since there is no punctuation you have to stop reading for breath at a completly inconvienient place within the text and then when you start reading again you could have completley lost the plot of what i am talking/writing about,
