I think its a trick question!!

I am assuming its a 1996 British 850. Kelvin's was number 8, but this car is 28 by the looks of it. Therefore it must be Jamie Davies and if thats right then it was testing prior to the Snetterton rounds (I assume this was at Snetterton)

TOURING CARS:- Volvo driver Jamie Davies was knocked unconscious and his car written off in a roll-over accident in the final testing session for Sunday's race. Davies was taken to hospital for X-rays and has been ruled out of the race, but was not thought to be seriously hurt.

The building in the background certainly looks more Snetterton than Oulton and Touring Car Year mentions Jamie having to have the car cut from around him.

well what I meant by 'trick question' was that we were expected to say Kelvin at Oulton (as it was a smashed up 850) but it was actually someone who never actually made it as far as the race, so you needed to know a bit about the 1996 Volvos - but then I suppose they're all difficult arent they!! :rolleyes: ;)

I guess I was just curious to see who would come up with what - unfortunately you lot aren't too easy to fool...

If there's one crashed car I wouldn't use, that would be Kelvin's. I still feel sick when I see stuff from that crash.
