The BBC sport web pages are in general quite good, and i think I had a moan about this last season, but the BBC seem toatally unaware of the BTCC, and given that the BBC is a premier news service, its about time they reported it.
Is there anything TOCA can do to encourage them?
PS. I did email the BBC with a moan, but got no response!:(

There's a surprise - the number of times I contacted them about their so called BTCC coverage in 2000 and 2001 and got no-where. I said they'd lose the rights to that and rallying if they weren't careful but they obviously werent bothered! They've still got curling though!!
I cant understand why because Steve Ryder is pretty important at BBC Sport now and he has an interest in Touring Cars, reflected in the fact that he was often the Narrator on the review vids.

He's also a major shareholder in BHP, who used to do the coverage.

BBC have screwed up there TV coverage of many events. But there is no reason why they cannot publish syndicated stories or press releases on the BBC news web site.
The F1 news is quite good.
Its either a BIG thoughtful SNUB on their part, or a failing somewhere in TOCA to get news to them?
As a fan I know I can news elsewhere, this site included.
But it bugs me that a premier, British motorsport seems, to have zero news from the BBC, there is very little in the news archive either!

Yeah but what we are saying is that one of the BBC sport people has a vested interest in BTCC - so that makes the lack of coverage on the company's web site all the more puzzling.
Although the web site is probably totally independent to the TV side of the company to be fair
