i think what must have happened is when the flames came from behind him, it must have gone underneath his helmet cos he didn't have any fireproof gear on - dont think he did anyway but i hope he has learnt from the mistake. i'm sure he would have done being a professional driver and all that - just hope it doesn't happen to him or anybody else again

Each book is based at one of the 17 race tracks featured in the Formula 1 World Championship with the first two being Silverstone and Hockenheim.

The citizens of Silverstone will be delighted to know that they story based around their race is called "Rainy Races".

The next set of two books will be published in September to coincide with the United States GP at Indianapolis.

talking of holidays 2.0civic, i booked mine at egypt for two weeks in march woo hoo. i looked online website and the hotel i stayin at got loads and loads bad reviews so i gonna change hotels! its called st cleopata in sharm. i think the only good review was probley made up by the holiday reps.
in 1st choice shop, they said the hotel is 4stars. is it f***! about half the people there caught food poison!

As far as I know, Kane set another record, 10 consecutive entries into Royal Rumble in a row, More than any other superstar, He stills hold the record for most eliminations in 1 match with 11 in 2001

I played the demo of it in a game shop with my friend, We done 5 laps each of Montreal I think, And he basically caused a huge pile up off the line bumping into other cars, Whereas I went up around the outside and was 3rd out the 1st corner, I eventually won my race, And ****** hell(sorry about the language) But auto brakes, Please like, No wonder I won my 1st race, I took all the aids off and tried again with Manu brakes, No ABS, No TCS or No STM and boy was it hard, I had to fight to keep the car on the track, Nevermind win the race :p :p

I didn't have it, my mate had it. I can't remember all of them, but I did beat my mate, on the Car one, where you have to go left right etc. And the fuse, where you have to press circle, triangle etc

Just read on PS3's website that to help reduce the cost of the PS3 40gb some of the functionality (like PS2 compatibility) was reduce or removed.

So it sounds like you wouldn't be able play any PS2 games. :(

Saying that we still have our PS2 so that we can play the games without to many issues. (we have the PS3 60gb)

Formula 1 :p :p :pmuch more then that dude, ps3 saves me loads of money, built in internet (i nearly paid4 a pc, glad i didnt now), blu-ray, save photos from mobile as a back-up(can print them out as well) play songs and save them on the system, plus probley more stuff coming out.
most of the time, i use it for net/dvds, it saves me room instead of buyin a pc/blu-ray/dvd machine!
plus its easy and quick to send other people msgs/photos within seconds without messin around

Its difficult to explain, but the old Toca games from the nineties had alot of money chucked at them from advertising rights and such. Just look at manufacturers that were involved, then all the other sponsors that got exposure from it.
Look at the ammount of sponsors and manufacturers involved now. SEAT, Vauxhall, Holiday Inn, Dunlop, Hi-Q and RAC. After that Im struggling to think of companies/brands that would pay for that kind of exposure?
Even in the old Toca games, the independants were not included for that very reason. So if todays version were to be made there would be 6-8 cars on the track at the most.
Its just not commercially viable at present IMO.

Funny enough, I was thinking of a game that I'd love to create. A bit like F1 career, but it's called BTCC career. You start of in one of the support races, then make your way up the ladder. If you do really well, you than get offered a drive in the WTCC. It's not like Toca Race Driver BTW

If you mean 2.0 Civic, he was posting links to a touring car news website not promoting a forum. Either way he wasn't solely banned for that but more likely for being argumentative and generally disruptive, and for re-registering with a new ID after having been previously banned for similar offences.

VM's one is very good- did it last year.

the first 2 races of the season are just to 'get your eye in' then the points start.
you can usally start making your team aroung the start of march

2nd season - currently leading the championship with 7 wins and 70 points after Race 1 at Anderstorp...

If you read the instruction manual it would mention Custom paintjobs and it would tell you to go to the games website for more information about the paintjobs

I've only tried the tracks I have on semi pro, don't think I'm quite ready for pro yet. and I'm not going to try manual gears until I can set up the steering wheel.

For turn one on Curtiba I just brake late, turn in and put all 4 wheels on the outside, then straight through the chicane and tight through the next turn, works an absolute treat for overtaking.

strange, evenwith all flag rules turned on it doesnt get me a penalty.

I don't really like spinning people round or having the settings too easy, I just want the most authentic racing experience possible. Although having said that, if I see a blue and yellow Seat with Y Muller written on the windows its going to end up facing backwards.

*smugness* I play at between 80% (in which I can go 25th to 1st in 10 laps of brands hatch indy) and 90% (in which I can finish around the middle of the pack)

Even in the game I still want Thompson and Priaulx to do well so I try not to knock them off.

I really want a Team RAC skin for the BMW.

ooo on the RACE07 subject I am an avid player of it and I'm an admin/CEO of a large community on there.

I play it without driving aids (even manual clutch!), I race using a Logitech G25 steering wheel (has clutch pedal and H-shifter) I use the shifter in sequential mode. The ONLY way to play this game properly is online in a community environment (people of ALL levels) with a decent steering wheel (Logitech Driving Force Pro/Momo or better) without the driving aids.

In the community I'm part of the only driving aid we allow on the server is auto-clutch.

I've only ever raced against the AI once, that was once again without driving aids with AI set to 100%. I won by 5 seconds around Valencia ;)



I really want a Team RAC skin for the BMW.
I have one of those ;) I know the person who made it.

you're stuck with the set up you chose anyway Ted, so you'll not miss much as you're not allowed to change it so i wouldn't worry about - just enjoy your holiday, get drunk over and over and over and when you get back there'll be lots of points sitting waiting for you, and who knows, you may be top of the league

i did a fantasy f1 league by post once, only down side was you have to pay 3quid per race then sometimes they send you a letter saying they never got the money! this was years ago when i was still at school and didnt know i was getting ripped off!!!! wish i spent that money on sweets instead lol
