But to my friends they think its a bit iffy :p
Johhny Depp was really good in this musical, As was Tim Burton, Who I have a newfound respect for :D
I never liked Tim from the Harry Potter movies :p
Does anybody here like Daft Punk??
They are a really good band, They put Kanye West to shame with there version of the song "Stronger", The same to Busta Rhymes song "Touch It"
They are so good, If you up for it have a peek on You Tube and type "Touch It / Technolgic" or "Around the World / Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" both should be live as they never made videos to the songs

A7X A7X A7X :psort of a rocker but i like different bits of music (some of muse, faithless, fall out boy,) but its bit rare for me to like a band that has a album full of 10/10 songs, i burn so many albums on my ps3 and pick out the best tracks.

Last wednesday me and my cousin recieved emails off the kart track from Spain to come down and race some of the veterans of the track, We left Thursday morning and we started Karting on Friday, My cousins session on Saturday afternoon in his practice session was cut short due to an accident, We eventually had the 220 lap race yesterday evening, My cousin tried to compete, He couldnt and eventually was taken to hospital for bruised ribs and a broken wrist, I never seen the accident, But fortunatly they decided not to charge us for trashing one of their karts :p

They dont exactly know what the full extent of his injuries are, But from the wreckage of the kart it could be alot worse that we 1st expected, I was told today VIA email that the steering wheel broke off when he hit the wall and thats what bruised his ribs, Its when the kark rammed at 55mph into the guard rail that it broke his wrist from the force, He should have a speedy recovery as the doctors say if there is nothing else wrong with him.
The race for me was agonising though, I done 110 laps and I was not aloud to compete for the rest of the laps, My cousin was supposed to do the other 110 :(

After getting a full medical, It turns out my cousin now has:
Bruised Ribs, 1 Which is fractured and a broken wrist
Doctors are saying he will be able to race again in a month or so, Should be released from hospital in the morning.
My cousin explained to me what caused the accident, He is known for using kerbs to get extra cornering grip, But this 1 kerb was really big, And they were advised to not really go up on it for extra cornering grip, Well after 20 laps he decided to use it for grip, He lost control, And as he said, "I flew about 7 or 8 feet across the track, Thats when I skidded about 50-55mph into the steel barrier breaking my wrist and bruising my ribs. Its my fault but I wont let it put me off karting, Its these kind of accidents that teach me lessons like these, Just a pity I missed the race"
We were both peeved off about what happened, But we didnt care about the race as long as my cousin was ok and recovering :D

i love karting on holiday, in gran caniera, there was one track that had a really quick 1st corner flat out, on the last lap, i was 2nd and went flying off the track full speed into the barrier. my leg was hanging out the kart and i s***** myself! i was ok though but the kart was not. i drove it back to the pits and i couldnt steer it right! i was sooooo lucky not to break any bones.

I prefer tight twisty track, Like this 1 for example:

The track I was on is the twisty 1 in the middle of the pic but near the top, 25 Euro's got me 35 laps.

Would you not tell your boss what site you use, Im sure he would understand, Its not like you would go on those filthy sites anyways.
Your boss should connect all the computers up to a network adaptor or whatever it is, And there all linked to the bosses computer, That way he can see all the sites that everybody uses, Should make everybody more wary that their jobs could be on the line depending what sites there on, So you should be fine then after that, And be aloud to go on the BTCC page ;)

yeah its been a while, all of these damn new cars with 08 plates on them need preparing though and half of the ones that have already been sold have been back with pointless little faults. one customer came in the other day complaining his number plate wasnt on straight. beraing in mind that the car was 3 years old and his number plate hadnt even been fitted at our garage yet he expected us to replace it free of charge. i quite often think that some of the customers have nothing to do with their time but complain to the garage. never work with people they are all fools and liars. damn them.ha ha ha. your right i aint been on here for ages and now my hand is hurting from all this typing

Yep it is quite annoying when I see a post one minute, then suddenly it's gone!
I also don't understand why this forum doesn't allow links? What is the harm of them, surely there isn't any at all?
I am an admin of 1 very busy VB forum and personally see no harm whatsoever in link posting. 99% of the time they're useful and help people out.

As posted in the rules on the forums, Your not aloud to give links to sites, Nor are you aloud to inform other members where you got the info. The moderators wont have to give you a reason to delete the threads due to the rules being breached. ;)

For example you say, "I just read on Touring Car Times about Xero Competition" Automatically the thread will get deleted.
Alternativly you can say "I just read on another motorsport site that Xero Competition were testing at Oulton during the week and plan to enter the BTCC in a little over a week"
Saves hassle for the mods on here, Rules are put in place for a reason mate ;)

These forums are based around the BTCC website, They dont really want other motorsport websites being linked to these forums, Regardless if the news if true or false, BTCC will be the site to confirm news to the fans 100% ;)

i dont see the harm in ifo being posted from other sites- this is because the btcc.net crew are afriad that we will spread false info!!!!!!!!!.
well, there is only one way around this- make this site produce more news bulletins and info about the btcc etc. then we wont have to look at other sites and post the info off there onto here.

I do think that it is just common courtesy to give a reason. Sometimes an explanation would be nice.
Most times we do - in the column to the right of where the thread has been deleted. If not, and the thread is removed completely, we email the person who started the thread (provided those email addresses work) and explain why.
Some of the emails back have been highly amusing...
The only time we perhaps don't give a reason is because it is blatantly obvious (or ought to be by now).

Hello everyone!
I'm sorry I've not been around, I've had a few busy weeks and not managed to make it on.
I'm really looking forward to next week for the start of the season! We've got to empty the Sky+ planner to make sure we have room for all the ITV coverage.
Throughly enjoyed the first round of F1, certainly a deserved victory for Hamilton and really pleased for Rosberg. I'm hoping that Malaysia will be just as exciting.
As for off topic stuff, not much to report, I'm currently in Yorkshire for our Easter Break, went to Malham Cove even though it was so windy and suffered through the hailstones!
I'll try and get online more this week. If anyone wants to chat on Yahoo Messenger please PM me and I will let you know my email address. :)
See ya soon.

The banking at Hawthorn (second part of the first complex) gives you great virews of the start/finish straight and first corner action - that's where I always go. Alternatively, there are excellent views of barcroft/sunny at the other side of the circuit.
See you there if not before.

The best combination for Race by far is the Alfa and Brands Indy!
Other than that Curtiba is a good track, as are Pau and Brno, Zandvoort is good apart from one turn I can NEVER get right, its also a bit hard and Macau and Valencia are annoying.
mattlovestbs
22nd Mar 2008, 11:18 PM
i hate Zandvoort... its just one of those circuits...
same with Porto.
Valencia is good - you'd be amazed how late you can break for the 1st corner.
Macau is sweet :) i love it.. even though i keep crashing :(
i can be very quick at Brno and Curitiba
the Alfa is ok providing you can cope with the crap brakes... thats why i like the Chevvy, its pretty balanced :)

the palce where i live at the moment there is an effective remedy for that. one tryed to break into my car so i set the girlfriend on them as i caught them in the act. they then came back later and i caught them again, needless to say i now rule by fear and they call me mate when i see them in the street. this peticular person is a real piece of s**t and tried to glass me in the street a week or so later. unfortunatly for him it was in one of my rare sober moments so i manged to get out of the way leaving him with quite a few cuts to his hand where he had broke the milk bottle he was holding. needles to say the scab is now doing time for a string of other offences. :D

Yep, been great thanks, thoughroughly enjoyed the weekend at Brands.
Especially the bit when Jason Plato drove past on our way home along the M25, couldn't quite believe it, so Gareth had to catch up with him just to confirm, they played cat and mouse for a bit and then we waved and Jason waved back!
That really made our weekend, we followed him right up until the junction for the M4, as Jason carried on for the M40 heading home for the evening. :D :D :D
