I was so gobsmacked. she was going to spend the day with shedden and at some point she was going to have to drive and she couldn't - whatttt?????

Make sure your time zone is London +0 and that you are on Daylight Savings and not general.

I plan on being around a lot more now the season has started. Had a good day at work, it isn't too busy, so I'm nice and relaxed.
Cycled home in the warm weather, which was nice for a change.
Counting the days until Rockingham and keeping an eye on the weather.

hi kerry, great to hear from ya! i've had a boring day to be honest - working to hard when I know i deserve a rest but hey the pennies need to come in from somewhere dont they.
Cycling home????? good for you that is ... especially with this warm weather - its been lovely up here in newcastle today ... blazing sunshine.
As for my dad, i have no idea what his username is going to be - dreading to know in fact ... he should have been born a comedian put it this way so if he does join, you're all guaranteed a bundle of laughs. He's a lovely bloke though ... dead down to earth and all that sorts - if you're going to croft you'll meet him as he is a bigger motorsport fan than i am
you should get your boyfriend to join???

I think he already has, but he's more of a lurker, not likely to join in. He doesn't really spend as much time on the internet as me.
He's currently changing the cars in RACE07 to new BTCC and Cupra Championship liveries.
Will look forward to seeing your dad around, is he a Seat fan too?

my dad is kind of a Seat fan if you know what i mean - but i know fine well when he joins the keen jackson fans will all be his friend as i'm sure he prefers to support mat - when we met him at knockhill last year, they gelled and couldn't stop talking - he thought he was a fab lad

Not doing anything tomorrow apart from mooching on the internet, as usual :p, no doubt I will be here.
Off to see mum on Saturday, then a trip to the Go Outdoors in Oxford for new camping chairs for BTCC Rounds, as ours broke. :(
Sunday we'll be watching the F1 in Bahrain, then WTCC on Eurosport and hopefully popping out to get another thermos for BTCC rounds. There seems to a theme here. :p

Cripes Reading Festival eh? I lived in Reading for 21 years and never been anywhere near the festival. Not my type of thing, I can just about tolerate the mud at BTCC.
Haven't decided on travel yet for Knockhill, we might fly up and hire a car there. or just drive up. It'll be about 6 hours

What games have you got for it?
hi kerry, it came with Beowulf and GT5 - amazing games.
One question though ...when we first put the gt5 in it loaded the whole game to the hard drive, but without the disc in it won't play ... is there a certain way this has to be done.
we have played on gt5 quite a bit and the game has been saved to the hard drive but we thought that with it loading it on, we didnt need to keep putting the disc in ... are we doing it wrong?
GioFan
5th Apr 2008, 12:57 PM
i wouldnt imagine you can play it without a disk because if you could do that you would be able to buy a game, load it to the hdd and then take it back and get your money back. Its like PC Games, you load them to the hard drive of your pc but for most of the pc games out there you need to have the disk in to play.

im not 100% sure - but FM08 may not need the disk
ive played it occasionally while using the DVD drive i put the disk in and its ok

my mind is also very fragile and requires a constant flow of alcohol, if it dries up i get a stinking head ache. i think i started to sober up at work today and i fell over. now i have a head ache and i am havin to do some hard drinking to cure it.
my mind has lost a screw. i cant belive i used to go out drinking (heavy) then work next day, 9-730! im bit naughty driving in 1st thing in morning (hope no cops read this lol)
i dont think i can do that anymore every week!

Laura, I think it probably does that to make the loading of the tracks and cars quicker, as the read capacity of Blu-ray probably isn't that high.
But you'll need the disc to link it all together.
:)
We have Motorstorm,Heavenly sword, Need for Speed Carbon.

Nope, fit as a fiddle, apart from some medication I take.
Probably had something to do with you getting in from work at 2am and then leaving at 4am to watch a day of motorsport in the not too warm weather, last weekend. :p

it loads the temporary data to the hard disk- like backgrounds and car models.
it deletes them i think.- the ps3 only neeeds to 'memorise' them then it is in the ps3's system.

Some people are so inconsiderate. I'm in awe of people that are able to know what they want to do and chase it and open their own business. I certainly couldn't do it.
It also takes some creative juices as well and mine would dry up in an instance.

my mates got a Mk1 Renault Clio 1.4 and it sounds like a touring car cos its got no catalyc converter (before 1992) and its only got the backbox on the exhaust for silencing. It back fires aswell when u lift off the accelerator.
