well, the first 2 definates for me are:
-Mercedes-Benz C-class/C-class sport coupe
-BMW Team GB - BMW 320i
then other id like to see:
-ALfa 147s again
-Mazda 6
-Jaguar X-type
-FORD FOCUS RS!!!!!! (just thought of that, that would be wicked!)
-Audi A4
Another 1 which could be VERY interesting if allowed is the Audi TT, should be allowed, 5 seats isnt it?

I would just like to see Nick Leason's focus out there - hopefully it won't be much longer...

The DTM run the Merc (big b1tch) and the Audi TT, maybe their rules are different from ours but Laurent Aiello and someo ther geezer race the TT, looks well.
I would love to see TOCA the way it was in '95, '96 and '97, we had Ford Mondeos, Alfa 156's, Audi A4 and who can forget the big a$$ volvo ESTATES!!!
They were great, although I have to say, the BTCC is definitly picking up again, more and more teams and sh1t loads of drivers with good hard, tight racing

If you'd asked me this last year I would have said my own car, but VLR have solved that for me! :D
I'd love to see a Merc but I think they'd be too big for the current trend towards more compact cars.

Nordauto with a three car Alfa 156 team. The championship was something special with Alfa involved in 94 - and Tarquini was one of the most worthy champions ever.
Volvos 850 Estate - surreal!
The return of Rouse Engineering would be a dream, along with some of the real characters like Brodie Brittain Racing and some true privateers like Dennis Leech and Hamish Irvine.

Nissan (whatever happened to the production Primeras??)
Renault - maybe the new Megane?
Reynard

The Alfa 147 would be my choice - I loved the way it looked, especialy painted black. That was one purposeful-looking car. Shame it had a tendency to go through engines at a somewhat alarming rate...
If I had to choose someone to drive it, there'd only be one choice for me: Kelvin "The Iceman" Burt. :D

Lexus IS200 - factory supported with Plato as wheelman.

Mercedes could use the C-Class sport coupe, theyre gorgeous! and very small, and im probably wrong but they look very aerodynamic.

It's got to be a works Ford Focus team, plus a couple of Alfa 147 GTA's might be nice.

Yep, given the Cupra cup series, it might make sense for Seat to have some sort of BTCC effort with the Leon as well. That goes for Renualt too. It would be big incentive for the winner of the Clio Cup to graduate up into the 'works' BTCC Megane team.
I'm also suprised that we hav'nt seen any ex-ETCC cars (Volvo, BMW,etc) come over to the BTCC yet. I understood that the new rules made them both similar in design, except for the standard parts (brakes, etc.) used in the British series.
V6.

There are many cars but a fair few are ruled out due to rules that biast against big cars.
I would like to see
A ford V6 focus
A volvo
A renault (which one??)
A 4WD audi
A (better) pug
A Saab 9-3
A Nissan
A Merc
A VAG car

Mmmmmm, I like the sound of a V6 Focus. I remember that the SVT section of Ford in the States made one as a concept road car. I think it was looked at seriously within Ford, but rejected as it was thought that such a large engine would cause problems for the cars crash-worthiness.
