Would be really interested on everybody's opinion of how well or bad you felt the officials made their decisions during 2007? An example would be when TOC was excluded at Knockhill when Gio turned in on him, or how about when Mat Jackson was fined for spinning at Brands Hatch?

everyone will have their own opinion... i personally felt that 95% of decisions were correct...

the 2 you quoted (Mat J at Brands, TOC at Knockhill) were wrong imo... Mat J didnt cause the spin, and Gio should have given the place to TOC...

but, we're not the people who make the decisions

agreed, and thats probably for the best or we would never agree on anything!

I personally think that alot of occasions weren't looked into properly when they should have been acted upon. but thats just my opinion...

We all have different views on incidents that occur during the race. But in the end, the guys at Toca make the final desicions, and we have to respect that

We all have our own opinions like BTCCROCKS has said, whether it be we agree to the decisions or we disagree ... most of the time we disagree if it concerns drivers which we support etc etc, but at the end of the day BTCCROCKS couldn't have hit the nail anymore on the head by saying that it is down to the guys at TOCA to file the final decision, and this in itself must be a difficult thing for them to have to do ... I would not like that job because you know criticism is bound to follow for days, weeks and even months ...

... and for this we need to be thankful and grateful for all their hard work!

like we say everyone has there own opinion on the matter but gio was never gonna give that place to toc. he wasnt along side. just an optomistic lunge in my eyes. like we say though everyone has a different take on the situation.
i think that the decisions were handled quite well this year with a better level of consistancy than in previous years. although i also think that there was less controversy this year too. if there was a crash the finger of blame could usually be pointed with out too much thought.

Regarding the T.O.C At Knockhill Incident. I suppose it doesnt matter now as Gio Still went on to Win the Title, I have to admit i was really shouting at the TV when that Happened calling him all kinds of Nasty Names, Still I've seen people get away with Worse.

I don't have a problem with most of the decisions last season, but would like a bit more consistency.
It appears that most of the time an incident is looked at & only when a team makes a complaint, and specifically asks for action to be taken, then it is (that causes people to think the decision is biased, even if it isn't).

I do think that Gio should have been more heavily chastised for punting Jordan off at brands. Yes he made a mistake, but it was still his mistake. Mat J paid for his mistake, so why not Gio? Because it would have affected the championship, thats what the cynical side of me thinks.

I think the stewards have a tough time trying to judge some of the incidents, after all they're human too (at least that's the rumour). I don't always agree with their decisions at the time, and I have to admit I've sworn at the tele a time or two. But afterwards I always calm down and let it slide. I mean, they're trying their best and they usually have access to a lot more info/footage/etc than us so in the end I trust them to make the correct decision, even if it's the wrong decision.

there were many occasions during the season that the marshams made the wrong decisions
toc at knockhill
mat at brands.

matt neal should have been excluded for just being there!!!!

Now that is out of order. Ok Matt Neal, might have been out of order with his comments. The Marshals might have made desicions that weren't popular, but as i've said before, the guys at Toca make the final desicions.

im with you danny 100% with the gio and jordan shunt at brands i know he said his brakes locked up or something and i have nothing but respect for gio him being in the btcc is what we need we all wont to see top raceing,

i think that toca do a really good job and you cant take that away from them

i would allso like to say the amazing work the marshalls do they really are the back bone of the safety of the track without them guys volunteering there would be no raceing at all.
