HereÃ*s the next renewal of Who, what, where and when.

The answers for Teaser 30 are as follows:

WHO: Mark Lemmer (left) & Flavio Figueiredo (right)
WHAT: Vauxhall Vectra SRi (Vectra Challenge)
WHERE: Croft
WHEN: 1997

So, well done to graz for being the first person to get the answer right

The current WWW&W league standings are as follows:

1) Stuart (9)
2) John (6)
3) Racefan_uk & speedy (3)
5) Kelvin & Invincible (2)
7=) graz, vitesse, Redshoes, lauz & Claire (1)

HereÃ*s another that will really test the grey matter ñ again, the clues are all there if you know where to look. Remember ñ I will need those four pieces of information from you and please, please post a complete answer:

WHO: driver
WHAT: car / championship
WHERE: circuit
WHEN: the year this action took place

Good luck!

The car is a ProSport 3000 or LM3000 depending on what you want to call.
The circuit is Donington Park.
The helmet looks very much like one of mine but as it definately isn't me I think it might be Ray Bellm.
As for the year - if it is Ray Bellm it must be part of the Group C revival series.... pause for misty eyed reflection.... so as a guess I'll go for 2001

Bet half of that is wrong!

Reynard

Sorry Stu, but this time your misty-eyed reflection is somewhat misplaced as it isn't 2001 and it isn't Ray Bellm...

This one has nothing to do with the GpC revival! ;)

Just to keep this going -
Bob Berridge
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1995 (total and utter guess)

Reynard
6th May 2003, 01:45 PM
No, it's not Bob Berridge - the driver of this car is a little bit more illustrious in terms of his achievements in BTCCand Touring cars in general than Bob :)

1995 is closer to the date, but its still just a touch too recent...

speedy
6th May 2003, 01:49 PM
Frank Sytner
Prosport 3000
Donington Park
1992

Reynard
6th May 2003, 02:03 PM
Errr, it's not Frank Sydner either.... *eeeeew* Closer on the date though.

Keep trying! (Someone needs to win the book - and I may throw some prints in as well as part of the prize ;))

The other possibility looking at the helmet design - although I don't remember him doing it is...

Andy Rouse
Donington Park
ProSport 3000
1993(?)

Invincible
6th May 2003, 09:30 PM
I'll try at

Ian Flux
Prosport 3000
Donington Park
1994

Stuart
6th May 2003, 10:22 PM
Fluxie.... hadn't thought of him.... could be on to something there.

Reynard
7th May 2003, 02:47 PM
Sorry, it's not Fluxie, though this guy's helmet is a bit similar. He was also a lot more successful in BTCC and international Touring events than Fluxie... :D

Stuart
7th May 2003, 06:37 PM
Bit of a gut feel attempt this one.... was tempted to try it earlier so here goes....

Chris Hodgetts
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1993

speedy
7th May 2003, 06:37 PM
Win Percy
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1993

Reynard
8th May 2003, 01:50 PM
It's not 1993 guys, and nor is it Win Percy or Chris Hodgetts...

I suggest you look a little bit further afield in terms of the driver ;)

Stuart
8th May 2003, 01:53 PM
Something has just clicked.

Thorkild Thyrring
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1992

Reynard
8th May 2003, 04:31 PM
You're off in the wrong direction Stu - both in terms of year and with respect to the driver.

Try reversing a little :D

Stuart
8th May 2003, 05:45 PM
Ok...
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
Yadda yadda yadda.....

I reckon David Sears may have raced one of these occaisionally back in 1992...
Seriously on a mission now! Reynard will not beat me!

Reynard
8th May 2003, 06:10 PM
IT

IS

NOT

1992

:)

You'd shoot yourself Stu if I told you right now, but since my interest is in preserving your life, I won't say anything just yet. :D

OK, I will say that it was a one-off drive...

Stuart
8th May 2003, 08:32 PM
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1994
Couldn't be Gordon Spice could it? Or is that reversing too far?

Invincible
8th May 2003, 10:58 PM
Is it

David Brodie
Prosport 3000
Donington Park
1994

Don't know why I just have the feeling it was something he would race

Reynard
9th May 2003, 12:46 AM
It's neither Dave Brodie or Gordon Spice.

I did say earlier that you need to look to look a little further afield for the driver... ;)

Does that mean it is a former Group C driver?

Invincible

I have a feeling it could be

Will Hoy
Prosport 3000
Donington Park
1994

Stuart
12th May 2003, 11:18 PM
Gary Ayles
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1994

Is this the longest running WWW&W ever yet?

Racefan_uk
13th May 2003, 04:45 PM
Is it:
Tim Sugden
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1994
?

Reynard
13th May 2003, 10:37 PM
I believe I've mentioned in a previous post that you have to look a little bit further afield than the UK for this driver... ;)

Could be the longest one yet! ;)

speedy
14th May 2003, 12:50 AM
Stig Blomqvist
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1990

Stuart
14th May 2003, 09:38 AM
Tom Kristensen
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1994

Reynard
14th May 2003, 01:31 PM
Heh - I suggest you try a little bit further south! :D You're going in the wrong direction completely...

Stuart
14th May 2003, 01:36 PM
Christian Danner
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1994

Reynard
14th May 2003, 01:53 PM
Still not far enough ;)

Am surprised no one has got it yet, as the driver was a BTCC frontrunner for many years and very successful on the international Supertouring stage... You'd associate him mainly with a particular maufacture for which all his touring car success came, though he did drive other machinery in the BTCC as well.

Any easier?

Stuart
14th May 2003, 02:17 PM
Paul Radisich
ProSport 3000
Donington Park
1994

Reynard
14th May 2003, 02:22 PM
I thought you were never going to work that one out! :) It is indeed the flying radish himself... The full answer is:

WHO: Paul Radisich
WHAT: ProSport 3000
WHERE: Donington
WHEN: 1994

So well done Stu! :) The WWW&W league now looks like this:

1) Stuart (10)
2) John (6)
3) Racefan_uk & speedy (3)
5) Kelvin & Invincible (2)
7=) graz, vitesse, Redshoes, lauz & Claire (1)

Next one will be posted as soon as I can find a writeable CD to get the picture off my laptop...
