Didnt Vincent Rademacker roll his Vectra at Croft in 2000?

Only other one that Comes to Mind was Charlie Cox having that huge crash in his Mondeo at Thruxton back in 1995

No Vincent nearly rolled, but not quite. Hit tyre wall and went to go on side but fell on all 4 wheels

Charlie's roll ruined his racing career. Did damage to his sight

One of the best rolls I saw was Charlie Cox in his privately run Mondeo in 1995. He rolled it quite a few times not sure where but he consequently missed a lot of the season with injury.

Sorry but your wrong it was definatly on its roof, it was in the trees at 'sunny in' I was sat at 'sunny out' at the time and remember it well after they finaly got him out (unhurt) he ended up driving the doctors car at the restart. It was plato that nearly rolled in that race at the complex, a good day to be sat near sunny that year.

Read the previous posts, you are talking about the wrong Charlie. The previous posts were talking about Charlie Cox at Thruxton, the crash you are referring to was Charlie Butler-Henderson at Croft.

What about Russell Spence?? Cant think of the track, But I think it was Oulton, Cleared the tyre wall, Only to be left hanging on the safety barrier, And on top of that, He missed Alain Menu's car by inches, And he had only crashed 10s max before Spence crashed on the same corner

Also, Again, Cant think of the track, But im almost certain, But what about Gabrielle Tarquini rolling his Alfa 155 at Knockhill(<- Not sure)

also knockhill was a bad roll for tarquini, what made me laugh was that the next year he nearly did it again somewhere on the track on 2wheels!!

i think last roll in a race was Colin Blair at Knockhill in 2001.

Since then, Chilton & Pickford have rolled in qualifying or practice.

I think the supertouring cars were more prone to rolling, Todays cars seem to take forever to go round a corner, where as in the 1990s they used to fly over the kerbs on 2 wheels. Don't know what it was but the Supertouring cars just seemed way faster.

Read the previous posts, you are talking about the wrong Charlie. The previous posts were talking about Charlie Cox at Thruxton, the crash you are referring to was Charlie Butler-Henderson at Croft.

He hit the tyre wall coming out of Sunny In after his throttle stuck open. skimmed along it, and the car finished on it's side. The same weekend PLato rear ended Tarquini at very high speed going into the complex, again as a result of the throttle sticking open.

The race was stopped for about half an hour while the car was recovered and vincent was attended to. If anybody has the 2000 season review, it's all on there.

The most recent in a race is definatly in 2001, when Colin Blair hit the tyre along the start/finish straight at knockhill, the car rolled and bounced a few times before resting on its side.

Why do cars always seem to stop on their sides? Gravity eh!! It's weird
