Does the MGF cup play a role in BTCC support races?
The cup is getting very popular, even the australian version is filling out the stands. so if it isnt why not?
I was unsure if this should be in this forum or motorsport so if iam wrong fee free to move it.

I thought MG pulled the plug on the MGF Cup in 2000?
But when it was around it was well cool. I got the 98 and 99 reviews and the MGF Cup was very entertaining.

The MGF cup now features F's TF's and ZR's all slighty tuned and specced.

Nice. I would like to see that at a BTCC meeting.

The Oz cup gets great attention and two of the drivers from lasdt year are moving upto the second tier of the V8's. The young guns from the Karts are the first to be grab by a team if they don't go to Fomula Ford.

If you have $50k (aus$) your MGF will be service, transported to each round and also fixed if you accidently brang it. Kumho Tyres is sponsoring the trophy series again this year and there is 10 spots left so come on guys book your flights and I have room. The winner of the series gets a fully sponsored season in the 2004 Konica V8 Supercar Series (class 2). Full series is televised on Network 10 and also supports Bob Jane T-Marts Bathurst 1000.

There are some details and announcements about it on the MG-Xpower web site (if you add three w's and a dot com to that you should turn up at the official MG racing site).
It's on the links page of this [toca] web site.
