what team do you support???

i was just wondering but who do you lot support????? im a very keen HONDA fan because i love the way the type Rs look and i think they have what it takes to win.

At the minute I'm more of a driver fan than a team fan. Used to support Volvo when they were in the championship. Now I support the team certain drivers are with - for example I like Honda more this year than last because they've now got Matt as a driver.

If I had to choose a team to support though I think it'd be MG this year ;)

Personally, I think the Vauxhalls look the dogs still. Honda's are ok, don't get me wrong, but still think Vauxhalls LOOK the class of the fields.

I agree with John, I tend to support drivers rather than teams. I even started going to ASCAR when Jason switched from the BTCC.

I tend to follow the BTCC as a whole rather than cheer for anyone in particular.
If I had to pick one team it would have to be MG, partly because they have a great driver in Anthony Reid, and partly because I have a hand in one of the MGCC championships.
At the end of the day though, I'll settle for an exciting race no matter who wins.

Like Stuart I am more of a BTCC supporter generally, but I am now developing a liking for Kipling ~ sorry, Edenbridge Racing (they serve exceedingly good cakes!!!!!).:D

In the absence of anything with a Blue Oval on it, I'm again cheering on certain drivers rather than any particular manufacturer.

My biggest support is always for Anthony Reid. :) However, I'll also be hanging over the trackside fence to see how Phil Bennett is getting along further down the field. ;)

I could end up supporting rather a lot of teams if I supported them as well as all my drivers!

Having got to know VLR pretty well though I'd probably continue supporting them even if Dan wasn't with them. There are some great people working there.

I agree with Alan too - Edenbridge are definitely in the running - very nice boss, driver & cake!! ;)

I think all the drivers do British Touring Cars a huge service. Collectively, they make the entire thing so worth watching. Still a huge fan of Jason Plato, and hope his drive with GA materialises soon. Have no particular allegiances to teams or manufacturers, but have lots of time for the smaller budget teams, who never fail to put on a show. Edenbridge spring to mind.

I have to agree with Ann and say that the VLR crew are one the Nicest touring teams and are always willing to chat, as for Production it has to be Barwell and Alan Blencowe as he is a mate of mine and a damn good driver.

All of the current crop are darn good drivers, which is what I mean about collectively making the series so watchable and enjoyable.

Yeah have to agree about the underdog / lower budget teams. I was always a big TD fan! :)

As with Les my signature says it all, I go with drivers rather than teams but I'm always open to bribery and Edenbridge are top of the list with their chocolate cake and friendliness. VLR always have time to chat as do Alan and the Barwell Team. Would like to get more of a chance to chat to Paul but VX Racing keep him very busy.
