Just read that Stuart Oliver is going to team up with Chris Stockton for this season. Stuart is the 2004 European truck racing champion and has won the BTRA title 7 times. I have met him a few times at truck racing weekends and he is a top bloke and a great racer.. He will certainly be a loss to truck racing but a great addition to the BTCC...

Taffy,
Just to clear up one point, you will be seeing Stuart at truck racing, he will be taking part in both series.

How do you come to that conclusion? There's a lot of skill involved in truck racing, driving accurately is vital.

i think topgear doesnt mean it the wrong way daveylad i think he just means it in good humour you know the big truck compared to a little car.

More great news. And another North-easterner :D .
I reckon the experience of driving trucks should be pretty useful in the rear wheel drive Lexus.
