Who's Going to Rockingham on Sunday?

Busted... how low are ASCAR sinking?:p
Just checked out the driver list for 2003, not as many 'big names' as last year now that Kelvin, Nic and JP have gone, I'll see if I can get to some meetings in the summer.

Although ASCAR may not have the big names it had last year, it really has got to be a must for anyones diary.
I went to the opening meeting last year and was knocked sideways by the whole thing! It may not be as pure a form of Motor Racing as the BTCC but as sheer sporting entertainment it was just incredible!

I have commitments at Oulton Park on Saturday and a kitchen in a state of mid-refit so unfortunately I'm not going to make it this weekend but its on my hit-list for later this year.

Stu: bummer, I was hoping you'd get there. Ah well, there's plenty more ASCAR at The Rock yet... :(

Kestrel: it won't be that bad (though I will miss Kelvin's presence a fair bit) because there's still Mike Vergers, Andy Kirkaldy, Ben Collins and Stevie Hodgson amongst others. Give it a try at least...

Kestrel ~ I am also disappointed that the 'big name' drivers won't be there this year, especially Jason! As I have a season ticket I thought it was worth going along to the open round, will see what it is like and decide from there.
