Well, what an incredible second race. Seven safety cars, accidents and tyres galore and a Team B.O.C. car on the podium. What more can I say!!:)

I know the race has happened and Jamie Whincup won the Clipsal 500 trophy
But after hearing the announcers saying that this year regardless of points the winner of Race 2 wins the Clipsal trophy
They said that the driver who used to gain most points in the 2 races would be the Clipsal 500 winner, What would happen for example that Mark Winterbottom took 1st in race 1 and Mark Skaife took 2nd in race 1, Then in race 2 Skaife took 1st and Winterbottom took 2nd, How would they work that one out?
They cant do it in order of championship points as Adelaide/Clipsal 500 is the 1st meeting in the V8 Supercars season!!
I reckon it would be Winterbottom who would have won it as he took the 1st win of the day.

In terms of the round winner, the first race doesn't count. The winner of the second race wins the round regardless.

Yes, I knew that already, But I mean, They said they used to do it in terms of points over the 2 races, The driver with most points wins the Clipsal 500, And from my example with Winterbottom and Skaife, Who would win??
