View Full Version : Team Aircool's last minute dash

I just thought I'd post about Team Aircool's dash to get Adam's car ready for Brands. It'll be really impressive to see his car take to the track for first Practice with the preparations only having been finished the day before. I guess it helps that GR Asia already have several years of experience with Seat's but it'll still be an impressive acheivement. Hopefully they can get a good result to make it all worthwhile!

yeah this is good news i didnt think he would actually be there, but if the car has the same sort of livery as last year it will look great

poor french, they cant help having silly laws. to be honest though all of the people enforcing these laws were probably on holiday on the bank holiday anyway, typical huh?

I believe the law has been in place for some years now - not just Easter but HGVs are banned from moving on highways on Sundays generally.

what a strange law. that surely cant do very much for trading in france, bet you all of the truckies love it though.
anyone else fancy a look over the quiz page, try mine no one has got full marks yet.

on the basis they were not expecting to be at Brands, this is really good news. Sounds like a late night or 2 coming up for the team.

Fingers crossed. ;)

In france and quite a few of the western european countries no trading happens on a sunday so it has no effect on it really. Wish they would bring the law in over here.

Good luck to them I can see a few all nighters for them this weekend!

The plan was always to be at Brands, but it wasn't expected to be quite this tight!

Seems very sensible to me. Now we could just have a similar law to ban caravans from the roads on Bank Holidays.

Another Motor on the track is always Welcome.

Mr Jones could very well be a Dark Horse this year as far as the championship goes.

i am just really annoyed cos i was going up sutton bank the other day behind a caravan, (you may of heard of sutton bank, its a bit steep.) i am sure caravans are prohibited but that didnt stop the one in front of me. i had to use first gear all the way up. i reckon that jones may have a good year and turn a few nore heads this year. he may even be up there in the final points standings. you just never know.

How many races is Adam expecting to enter this year? Cos it was a shame he didn't do all of the rounds last year cos he was pushing the works teams all the way.

Editor1
28th Mar 2008, 01:25 PM
He's entered for the full season - all ten rounds.

GR Asia aren't entered in the WTCC this season, which was the reason Adam couldn't do all the rounds last year so he's free to to the entire championship.:)
