I've been at thruxton today and thought I'd share a few things with those that weren't there.
Yvan Muller went off at church in the first practice session but managed to get back on track without hitting anything and I heard he had a wheel come off in the second practice session thpugh I didn't see that.
Carl Breeze went and did almost the same thing at church during qualifying, off the track but gathered it up before making contact with something solid.
Phill bennett went off at noble at the start of qualifying.
David Leslie didn't make it out in the second practice session because most of the rear suspension was off the car and they had an angle grinder going at something down there whilst some other parts were being welded. I'm impressed they got it out just intime for qualifying because they did a huge amount of work on the car.
I watched one of the sessions from the chicane and I was suprised how much you could see from there (did get very crowded though).

Unforunately Proton's hard work on Leslie's car failed to pay off, as his Proton failed the post-qualifying technical check.

As for Phil Bennett, his off was caused by the loss of a wheel!
