Congratulations to everyone who has been involve with Team B&Q/Varta over the past three years. After a lot of hard work and effort by a lot of people they can feel proud that the team is starting to really look the part. Today saw one of their cars take maximum points from the meeting - pole, two wins and two fastest laps. At the same meeting they did a sterling job to get the second car fixed and ready for race two after it had been caught up in someone elses accident in the first race and extensively damaged.
Top marks to the boys there on the day today for a top job. But also to everyone who has been involved in the project since those dark days of the Integras!

Well done indeed ! Today was probably the product of the same amount of effort and commitment by a great many people as every other race weekend and more. Unfortunately, you don't always get out as much as you put in, very undeservedly so.

Tom B managed to do what few people have - he got me to run from the grandstand to the podium (nearly ruddy killed me!).
Well done Tom and everyone at Team Varta. :)

Definately a day of mixed emotions for all concerned at the Team Varta garage yesterday. What with Jim 'I'll get under there and fix it myself' Edwards being badly damaged in the first race and Tom winning both, I bet they didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
Superb performance by Tom in the second race to win with a very heavy car. Well done to all.

Congratulations to the team!! Am I right in thinking thats Tom's first win? If so congratulations to him as well.
Hopefully both can keep up the good work!

Now get Jimmy out in the other Pug and hopefully you'll have something more interesting prepared to say next time!
PS Are there any photos anywhere to show the damage to Jim's car? Those who haven't seenthe TV coverage will surely be amazed at the guys for getting that car out for race two.

I just posted a link on 'another forum' but I'm not allowed to mention it or its location here. Worth a bit of guesswork if anyone wants to see it though as it really shows what a top job Stuart, Neil, and the other lads did to get Jimmy back on track for race two.

Could have sworn there was a photo in the TOCA Gallery earlier, but it seems to have gone??

Thrilled to see my road car out there winning - just need the orange ones to do the same now!
Congrats to all at the team & especially to everyone involved in getting the Honda back out for the second race. Have to admit I didn't think they'd do it when I saw the damage.
