I have just got to say well done to Dave Pinkney - 1st and 3rd - great!
After a dodgy start to the season they have now worked out how to get the best out of the car so full steam ahead.

Here here!!!
And he was suffering from flu!
The race on Saturday was excellent Les - and Dave was only just second. A final corner attempt could have resulted in disaster but Dave sensibly backed off and kept second. I hope they show it on tv.
As for his run back through the field on Sunday - well!!
Well done Dave.:D

I was pretty gutted to have missed it but I was being kept up to date by Dave's other half Jay and of course Kev and Sandra. I am very sure this is not the last I'll see of him on the podium.
but what gets me - he has to make it hard for himself. No poodle round at the front - he has to spin and then fight from the back. ;)

I would also like to say well done to Dave for two pretty exciting races. What with those two races and two wins for Tom in Production BTCC, I don't have any nails left.
Also have to pass on congratulations to a young gentleman by the name of Jonathan Cocker. 16 years old and blew them all away in the second race of the Porches to take second place overall. I think we are going to hear his name a lot in the future.
He may look very young - but there is nothing immatuare about his driving or the way he conducts himself overall. Well done Jonathan!

Have to admit, when I saw David spin I thought "thats that then"
It was a brilliant drive back through the field, made more impressive by the fact that he was clearly thinking about what he was doing rather than just diving for ever decreasing gaps.
