Mine was £51 but it's a lot more basic! I need to stay in a hotel to charge my camera gear etc.

We'll either stay in Holiday Inns or Travelodges at least you know what to expect.

I just want to be close to the track.

I'm the same although also add Premier inns to the list. Travellodges are usually the cheapest but the most basic, Premier inns slightly more and slightly less basic with the Holiday Inn's being the most luxurious of the 3 but also the most expensive! (Usually!)

Well I don't mind giving my mobile number out to let people know where I am. I'm getting easy to find with my Seat Jackets. Yes, the plural is correct. :p

Saturday is the easier day to meet, as its obviously quieter.

I'm staying at the Premier Inn at Ashby de la Zouch..... just 'cos I love the name of the town :p .

I'll be at the top of hollywood on the Sunday. As usual, pretty anonymous in a grey waterproof (yes, I'm expecting rain :p ) and Team RAC hat.

Yeah I intend to go. Can't afford to stay though as I'm only a poorly paid Gov't worker!! (LOL!!) I'll be leaving the house about six to make sure I'm there to get a good spot (down by the sparkplug). Even if its a warm day I'll probably be the one who is wrapped up like it's the middle of winter.

i will be there, you lot are a bunch of sissys, if you wanna be close to the track you cant get much closer than camping at the farmhouse hotel. its always a good atmosphere there and the boozing last well into the night. if you wanna say hi i will be in a blue tent around the gate to the track. look for 4 drunken people(2 guys 2 gals) will have black corsa and silver astra or possible silver corsa too. depending on what car i take. probably tha disastra.

Probably the best place to stand (in my opinion) is down by the old hairpin, somewhere near the sparkplug. They usually start bout 9ish at donington, so it depends on whether you want to watch all the races or wander. I try to get there by 8 to get in and settled before the racing starts.

The Only place To be At Donnington is the Bottom of the Craner Curves Sitting on the Rocks. Or if they used it the Chicane on the way down to the Melbourne Hairpin Witch they don't use anymore. :( :(

I'll be at Donington. Taking the hardcore way and camping at the Park Farm House

Also having a meet-up there with the RACE07/rfactor community I'm part of, we're all camping (probably about 8 or 9 of us!). Beer, BBQ, tents and touring cars... can it get much better? :p

Ill be standing inside of the Old Hairpin, scene of much drama in the past 9 years that Ive been going. Remember race 2 in '06, it seemed everyone was going off, and I think at one point, 8th, 9th and 10th was Mark Smith, Martyn Bell and Richard Marsh!

I'll be there, Just outside the Donington supporters bit. Best place to see the crainer curves from regate, and the old hairpin. Plus very close to the pub.

Can i ask why they don't have big screens at donington by the old hairpin so you can see the action on the back of the circuit, And one opposite redgate, Would be a good feature for this track as action take place all round it, I know there are a few screens a silverstone when we get there in a few months.

Well I'm going to my first ever BTCC event at Donnington (sadly, as I don't get paid until Wednesday, I'm going to buy my ticket on the gate as buying via the Donnington website so soon before the event may mean I won't get the ticket in time).

Just had a chat with the man from the Met Office who works in our control centre and he is forcasting scattered, but heavy, showers for the East Midlands this weekend.

We've bought some new more robust camping chairs, to lug around.

Neal was nowhere near McLeans, The safety marshalls next to the bridge would have dealt with his car.

And it was Chilton.
How could anybody forget the confrontation between Jackson and Chilton afterwards..
