Hello,
Just a quick post to ask if anybody has been watching the 2008 Super Truck Racing on MotorsTV. I was sat watching it last night and none other than our very own Stuart Oliver was racing. It was well worth the watch. Very enjoyable.

I could seriously get into the truck racing. There's something about it which makes for interesting viewing.
Giving him a chance to settle into motor car racing is definitely something we all need to do as it is a huge step down but hopefully, his settling down will happen sooner.

Stuart Oliver rules at truck racing. Hopefully he can adapt to touring cars.

Is he racing in the trucks as well as touring cars this year??? That would make it harder for him to adapt as he would have to keep changing between the too!

well if he wants to succeed in the btcc first of all he needs a competitve car.
he should buy his own car and set up his own team, he must have enough money after being european champ that many times.

yip he sure does ... thats what he said on sunday when he was interviewed before the race, he said he'd have to remember that he was now driving a car and not a truck - mint!

i think Toyota and Lexus should put some money into helping BTC Racing adapt that Lexus, or even help them with new IS models.

Hi
Would be nice for them to get a bit of help with the cars, not really a good advert for lexus when they keep breaking down after a couple of laps is it?

Nobody!! In fact my guess is that they are the ex-Motorbase SEAT Toledos but we shall have to wait and see.

Here we go as usual. Anonymous 'insiders' showing off what they know and we don't.

it only seems to be the engines that are problematic, speedeuipe had the same problems. surely Neil Brown can modify the lexus/toyota lump to last the pace without chucking legs out of bed. after all the honda engine is reliable
and if it is the ex motorbase seats is it actuallty a step forward as these cars are pretty old and have had more hits than the beatles

it's not that ... it's because we've had people on here trying to sound like their insiders with information and they've told us a pack of lies ... it's not big and it's definitely not clever as it's got to the point where we don't believe them anymore and one day somebody will be on here with true information and we'll end up shrugging it off because of the stupidity and mentality of others :p

The trick is to make a mental note of who says what and how often they are correct. It soon becomes apparent who to believe and who is a clueless wannabe.

His major lack of track time due to car failures is surely not helping him to adapt. :(
Can't help thinking that the cars are either just too old or not up to Touring Car Racing.:(
