Just finished watching the first race of the season, good race. Loving that Mattias Andersson came 5th in James Thompsons ex Alfa 156. If only there had been a couple more laps, may have been a 4th place finished as was givin Tomas Engstrom a hard time. Anybody else watch it?

Its streamed online at svt24, swedish tv website, don't know if they are going to archive each race like they did last year, to watch at anytime.
No there is only one longer race each round, Knutstorp was 36 laps.
Good variation of cars - Volvo C30, BMW 320si, Alfa Romeo 156, Seat Leon, Chevrolet Lacetti, Peugeot 308, Mercedes C Class and Honda Accord.

if the Volvo C30 sounds like it does on the video thats on Youtube of it then it has to be the best sounding current touring car out there.

I watched that too, very hard to follow though with not being able to understand Swedish!:D Interesting coming together between one of the BMW's and a Honda Accord. The BMW got launched into the air but didn't seem to have any significant damage.

That was Robin Rudholm BMW clashing with Thed Bjork Honda Accord, making it an all BMW podium. Yea i find it hard to, although some words you can make out.

Any former BTCC or F1 drivers in it? Or anyone who looks like an up and coming talent?

what did everyone make to the racing?
I still think the BTCC is better in terms of racing but i liked the different cars on show that we dont have here i.e honda accord and volvo c30. I also like the pitstops - i dont know why but it feels more like proper racing if pitstops are involved

I hate Pit Stops, and hope they stay away from BTCC.
Leave the Pitstops for Formula 1 Please.

I know pitstops do mix up te racing a bit more. If they did return to BTCC I would only like to see them in one race at each round as the racing at the momnt is fantastic. I do miss Volvo being in the BTCC they used to b my favourite team.
