To be honest im not sure if you really can get hold of them; unless you are lucky and can find one on eBay.

no sign of one on ebay. i have asked loads of people who i have seen wearing them at meetings and i always get the same reply. its usualy that the coat has been bought at a previous meeting. i am sure they had them at oulton a few years back but i didnt have the cash to splash out at the time.

You could ask Adam, (b2uk) if you haven't already! He's the worlds biggest RAC fan and has a fleece i think. Or an RAC coat of somesort. Think he was wearing it at Donny last week. ;) I have one of those freebie rain coaty things that make you look like an overweight carrot!! But i got that at Brands a few years ago, from an RAC girl handing them out. :)

On the WSR website it says that WSR do not sell any merchandise and if there is any at all it is the responsibility of RAC.

i have looked on the rac online shop but its just filled with crap about wind screens and driving lessons and insurance. :(

In 2006 when RAC came on board was the only year when merchandise was sold - from Oulton Park onwards. The coats were being sold (at a loss, I believe) for £105. Other items sold were breathable sport T-shirts, beenie hats (with Turks on them) and umbrellas. Once this kit was sold that was it. They had a shed load of orange baseball caps that they gave away at each race as well as basic ponchos with RAC on the back. In 2007 they had some beenie hats left over from the previous year, better quality ponchos and loads of free orange and black baseball caps. This year they may have a few beenies left (doubt it tbh) and a few baseball caps. All kit was being sold from the RAC stand whilst freebies were given away during the pit lane walkabout and also, to an extent, from the RAC stand.

The budgets have been slashed and therefore no more merchandise will be bought for sale to the public (this is what I was told by a contact at RAC).

I'm sorry this is not good news for people who wish to buy kit. :(

I know its probably of no help, but we got our coats at Snetterton 2 years ago (when Rob Collard and CT were the drivers.) They cost a pretty penny too, but are really good quality! We only know of around 6 that were sold and we know whio has each and every one of those!! The funniest moment we had in ours was one day in the market in town, we were wearing our coats and bumped into a couple wearing Team Halfords kit - there was a little bit of friendly banter and some light hearted insults about that!!

Best of luck in your quest, and if you come across any hens teeth or rocking horse stuff let me know!! LOL!!

nah nowt special, 24. i have just been to the rac headquaters with work this week, i have just got back last night and they dont seem to be able to get things like that either. i was proud of getting back in three and a half hours though.:D
