Something i was wondering today, why are most of the BTCC cars left hand drive?

i suspect that they are cheaper to purchase as a base car for racing, they may even be sourced from europe or the far east, you might be better asking one of the teams that question if you get to one of the rounds, just make sure you ask a team with a left hand drive car!!

I believe, but I'm not 100% - in my opinion it is easier to drive on the left hand side when you're on a track or rallying. Don't quote me on this mind, I may be wrong but I think it is down to the view as being on the left hand side gives a wider/better view and I think it is also down to drivers preference as not all of them do it. I noticed Shedden drives on thr right.
Maybe a good thing to ask Alan Gow though. Get an answer from a professional and then you know that you've got the right one.

I'd search the Alan Gow thread before you do though, as this has been asked on the forum before.

Redshoes probably knows the answer to this, as they are quite knowledgable
