That is fantastic news. Actually, he really should have been given the third works MG drive, but this is definitely the next best thing. Thank god this young talent is no longer being wasted.
What happens to Plato, by the way?

Fantastic news. :)
I heard that he's only with us at Silverstone, and its a one off drive? Plato may still get that seat.

It's a one off to start with, but hopefully will lead to more. :)

The car will be run by 'Team Dynamics Comma', supported by promotional activities such as the Comma Pitstop challenge....

I understand that the car will be liveried in a similar way to the TD cars of 98-01. (100+ alloys, Rimstock, Comma)

I'm suprised that no one has being moaning that he only got the drive because he is bring money. Thats a turn up for the books

About time too! Still don't understand why he missed out on the works MG drive, but at last some sort of justice has been done. Good luck Gareth!

But he didn't bring any money!
TD have their own sponsors and they've asked Gareth to drive.
Therefore it would be v stupid (and wrong) to moan that he has only go the drive because he has brought money.

well from his racing (but not the results) they should sign him NOW.
He beat Gavin Pyper before the pit stops and would have after but was asked not to. He then showed he could have until the car gave up.

Absolutely Les.
If GA keep Gareth and Gavin for the rest of the season there will be more giant killing acts!

Gareth and Gavin for me today were one of my highlights of the meeting. In a reasonably uneventful pair of races, you needed to look a little further down the field for excitement. Pypers move on Reid, I think, into Copse was outstanding. If Gareth Howell had been free to race Pyper you might have seen some decent action. I wonder was Gavin Pyper driving under a warning or some sort of probation period given the events of Thruxton.
