Whats going on with Honda and pit strategy and pit stops. From what I've seen so far there have been more than one incident at each round that have cost the team time and positions, dropped nuts, sticky wheels, coming in at the wrong time etc.

In contrast the Vauxhall stops have been supurb with helps explain why they have led on the last lap of every race.

Anybody got any insight?

in my opinion it seems that vx racing are a lot more experienced at the pit stops. they are always practising and they just seem to get faster and faster. if honda done more practising they may get better, but i put it down to experience.

Honda were practicing at Thruxton again. Its standard to practice at every meeting but I think some off track practice is needed. Do they do this when they get back to the factory? I take it this is standard.

This is a HUGE issue for honda, in my view its loosing them the championship. The jack seems to be the problem, not the speed, ive watched all the races live and virtually every honda has pulled up form the ground on the jack then momentarilly dropping, cause in the people doing the pit stop to loose around 3-4 seconds. To me its a machine problem.
Honda NEED to get this fixed NOW, its pathetic that they havent done anything about it in 3 bllody races.

its odd, because i dont remember Honda having any problems last year, which is when u expect them to have the problems in their first year!

its not just the jack their having problems with, its the right front wheel that dosnt come off quick enough, as well as the jack, which means put them together and they are losing about 4-5 seconds to the rest of the teams. But as you say, they should of sorted it out after 2 races. Question being, will they have it done by Silverstone. lets hope so

But why is it different to last season? They were'nt noticeably bad at it before

what I have also noticed is the driver is not accurate in his stopping and the jack man is not in the correct place. This means everyone moves and that costs seconds

I imagine it is the design of the wheel hub that is causing a few concerns. They need to get back to the drawing board to fix this one.

The Honda team certainly did not make this many errors last year.
