Hi folks: a great initiative from our title sponsor HiQ.

Simply vote online at www.hiqonline.co.uk for your star driver at each meeting.

The driver with most votes then receives the HiQ Champagne Moment award - a magnum of bubbly - at the next meeting and is presented by a voter picked at random! Yes, you do get complientary tickets to the next round! :D

Voting for Croft is now open.

More details on the homepage.

Cheers

And the winner is... Mat Jackson. Some 67% of fans who took part voted for Mat (see homepage for more details).

Remember, you can vote for your favourite from Snetterton at www.hiqonline.co.uk as soon as this Sunday's action is over. One person who votes for the most popular driver will win tickets to a BTCC round and be invited to present the winner with their bottle of bubbly!

Guys, remember, you still have time to vote for your HiQ Champagne Moment driver from Snetterton.

One of you who votes for the winning driver will be selected to present him with his prize - a bottle of bubbly - at the next meeting.

Good luck! :D

Well done to Robert Collard who scooped 77% of the fans vote to win Knockhill's HiQ Champagne Moment award (see homepage).

He'll recieve a bottle of bubbly at Silverstone on Sunday - presented by Denise Thompson from the Wirral who was one of those who voted for him. Denise wins a pair of tickets from HiQ and a bottle of champagne for herself as well! :D

Remember to log on to www.hiqonline.co.uk after Silverstone's action this Sunday to vote for your favourite and one of you could be attending Brands Hatch as guests of HiQ!

Cheers

Hi,

Glad to say it was me who won and what a weekend Silverstone turned out to be. Motorbase treated us like true VIPs, fed and watered to the brim, grid walk, watching racing from the garage and getting up close to both drivers and team. I can honestly say that the whole Motorbase Team made us feel welcome and this was the best race meeting we have experienced.

Rob is a lovely guy and really put me at my ease so that I didn't drop the champagne.

This is a great opportunity to get behind the scenes and should not be missed. If all the teams treat the fans as well as Motorbase treated us this competition gives the best prize an ardent race goer could ever want.

Thanks and well done to all at Motorbase and HiQ for organising this.

I didnt realise it came with the whole VIP treatment if you won?? I think your lucky it was motorbase as there such a nice team they would treat you as friends, but other teams may notbe so generous

It doesnt,Motorbase are just very generous with the winners,i doubt all teams would treat fans this well,we had exactly the same treatment at Oulton Park, thanks Motorbase!:)

kezbabybabe

Yes, it's team dependant, as Gaz was only able to award champagne as there wasn't enough room at knockhill for anything else.

Yeah - Gareth didn't get the VIP package from John Guest, but Mark got the works from Motorbase when he presented Steven Kane with his champagne moment.

Edit - Damn - Kerry beat me to it

I've got a problem with the voting - it says I have already voted (which I haven't for this round).
Sounds like they haven't cleared out Knockhills votes which means my vote is for the wrong person..... and if they clear it out completely now then a lot of valid votes will be lost.

Yep, my mind made up too after the first race,
Mmmmmmm i wonder who???? Sherlock Holmes not required here :D
Started 12th , pitted rejoined at the back of the grid and fought to finish 8th , awesome drivin but didn't get the aknowledged plaudits it deserved in my eyes.
Then races 2 & 3 speak for them selves capped a meeting that followin technical problems in Qualifyin was better that could have been expected.

I think Silverstone has provided us with the most difficult choice for the Champagne Moment so far this season. There were some stellar drives from at least 4 people.

I think in this instance I'm going to take into account of the 3 races and as a result a Seat driver will get my vote!

A certain young Honda driver would be a very close second but due to circumstances beyond his control, he was unable to complete all 3 races. He would get my vote for single most impressive drive of the day - considering the tiny budget they run on compared to the others.

Well done to all the drivers who gave us some exceptional racing in very testing conditions.
