I always Harvey and MUller were stunning in the rian

But my opinion changed when Ried decided to stay on slicks at the Brands 2001 final. How on earth he managed to keep it on the island. Drivers with wets were even sruggling. Not to start that argument again but after that bravery and skilled drive, Ried didi deserve to win that race

REID was helped a little with the race being stopped, and at the time it was stopped I think the Astras were close to overtaking him.

Harvey is seen and probably always will be seen as the BTCC rain master.

Reid has always impressed me in the wet. I remember back to the season finale at Silverstone in 1999, where Reid was blitzingly quick in both races- finishing 4th and 3rd- and completely outshadowed Alain Menu, in a season when Alain generally had the advantage.

But then I'm a Reidy fan!!:D
