Well Muller was quickest followed by Morrison, Neal, Thompson, O'Neil but what's the story behind Leslie's 5 laps and Bennett's 2 then 1 lap???
Can anyone throw any light on it?

Amanda (who was up there) says she doesn't know! Can't get the staff these days can you Les?
Apparently YM and AM had identical times!!! (at least to the hundredth of a second)
She does know that Anthony Reid had suspension problems which is why he didn't do too much running.

Well, hopefully it will remain that close in qualifying tomorrow!:D
I do hope MG get their suspensions fixed before tomorrow- time for Anthony to get his season back on track.

ahhh got a bit from mates but not a lot and not the Proton problems...
Seems some of the production lot are on their limiters going round the oval and if they are not carefull it could cause some engine damage.
No Jamie Spence and no Billmoria.

Morrison fastest in both free practice sessions this morning; Hines fastest overall in Prodcution and Pyper easily the best indie.

The BTCC would earn some respect without them to be honest. I don't mind if I'm slapped. the number of people who have laughed at the BTCC because of these cars I've lost count of. Yes I know the "they're good racing" argument will rear it's head here...again...but the BTCC's about selling cars not racing!!

Well, proton seemed okay, both spent a bit of time in the pits with the bonnet up but not a huge amount from what I can tell.
It seems abit odd seeing touring cars go round there but it's pretty cool. The weather was not at all cool though, very very hot. If you're going tomorrow take plenty of suncream and keep putting it on (I have a nice red arm now despite wearing factor 30!) and take a bottle of water too. My money's on Boardman to be the first to lose a wing mirror (and some stickers) to the wall, he was getting pretty close to it along the startline today. Can't wait for the races tomorrow (and if you like a good view of the pits and the paddock, on top of the garages is a great place to stand.)

Jim inspected the scratches on his wing mirror and Renault have run out of Clios mirrors - 34 were lost in testing!
The one thing that got me... all year the tourers that came up behind a production car and probaby overtook them at a corner by out braking but here they just seem to slip stream past so so easily.
and as for John Batchelors shirt - you wouldn't lose him in a crowd
