Its the season opener, and Leob is back on form, infact Citreon are back on form with Leob and Sordo making it one two ahead of Hirvonen.
Leob is actually 44.4s ahead of Sordo, so it seems we know who is going to win now unless Leob has problems.
Sordo is about 20 odd seconds ahead of Hirvonen, and from the way I can see it there is nobody else getting into the top 3. Leob is 1m 4.8s ahead of Hirvonen, but Leob is 3m 9.4s ahead of Henning Solberg.
Chris Atkinson had a hairy moment on one of the stages, he came back to the service yard and passed with with the passager side of the car whacked in and his front bumper gone.
Jari-Mati Latvala's car was in the service yard getting repaired and repainted, from what I was told Latvala had a coming together with a fans car. Latvala was supposed to have a stiff neck and a few bumps, but is still able to compete. After an hour of me arriving in the service park, Latvala's car was out and running, he headed over to scruteneering and the car was passed.
The final two stages tonight have been cancelled due to flooded roads, so that means Latvala wont be back out rallying/racing until tomorrow morning.
Ill keep you all updated tomorrow as ill be visiting the service yard again :D

I have now lost complete interest in the WRC! Loeb will just walk away with it for yet another year and the series has precisely no excitement in it at all. The IRC is better now in my eyes!

The IRC will be the one to watch this year, Ill still watch the WRC cause you have to stick with things through a bad patch, the WRC is a bit like the BTCC was in 2001 not alot happening and pretty predictable.
The Monte carlo rallye last week was just supereb with eurosport showing the live stages at night with loads of onboards, the only down side of the Monte was that some French bloke called Seb won it.
But anway the IRC is the New WRC the cars are Awsome looking. :)

Who were the two brothers that almost started fighting after one tried to drag the other out of his car after a stage in South Africa I think? Was a long time ago, both received a fine for it aswell.

ooooh what a suprise the stupid french prat in p1 again, how boring is WRC. Its like F1 got with Schumacher. Loeb doesnt need to be there, he doesnt need to prove anything else.

I love WRC, but find it rather predictable, but as has been said earlier its not Loebs fault that the rest can not keep up. One thing I do like about him is that he races in other series too. Am I right in saying that he will be racing at Le Mans this year?

Home come youve not gone to any of the Stages, I mean come on theres a RALLY on your door step and youve not been (not including the service park)
I was going but it was gona cost me a about 500 pounds and it would of been about 20 quid a car cause theres only about 50 cars in the rally.
When I went in November 2007 It was 99 pound on the ferry and 150 quid for 2 nites in a hotel in Ennerskillen, the downside was the driving its a killer.
3 hours from my house to Hollyhead in wales and 2 hours on the ferry then 3 hours from dun laghire ferry port to ennerskillen.
was gonna fly and get hire car and hotel but was gona cost about 500 ponnd all in without food.
so im going to Lemans and the Belguim grand prix instead.

The main reason im not going to any of the stages is the weather.
Its rained from 5pm yesterday until 11am today. At least in the service park I can get some shelter and get some shots of the cars being fixed (Latvala's).
I also got some pretty good shots of the cars as they were being washed at the entrance of the service park.
I might go to the Donegal street stages tomorrow morning though :)

TBH for me the IRC in scotland is more appealing than the WRC on the watered down stages they now use. Hopefully some of the rallies that are being supported by the IRC after the WRC dumped them will stick with the IRC as night stages are a great part of rallying, then again what will they call it next year as it wont be wrc anymore (unless the fia change/ignore there own rules again).

I cannot ever see Matthew Wilson doing very well hes in his forth year now and he is still way off the pace, especially when you get Natural born talents like Sebastian Ogier, only his secound time in WRC machinary and hes straight on it, he won a stage in his first appreance in wales last year, hes JWRC champion and Won the Monte Carlo rally the other week in the IRC.

I think loeb is the like schumacher of WRC, you cant fault him on his immense skill, i just thing until he retires its going to be a bit of a one way fight. dont get me wrong he is one of the best WRC drivers but i think that until he retires we are not going to see a decent scrap for the title
