After Seb's win n the Norway rally, a quetion popped up in my mind..

Can Sebastien go all the way and win every rally this year?

Norway is the only snow rally this season, and thats his least favourite surface, the rest are loose surface and tarmac events, and surely he'll be theodds on favourite for every rally.

If he comes out on top on every occasion, not only will he be the 1st person ever to avhieve the fete, but also it will be a remarkable achievement aswell.

Thoughts please guys

If he does it will just kill the WRC even more, there's no point in watching anymore because its the same boring winner every single time.

so you enjoy seeing the same person win over and over and over and over? either you genuinly do like to see them win or are just glory hunting

As a matter of fact, I do like him.
But im yet to learn who's your favourite driver in any championship, ive only ever seen you moan about drivers, never ever praise them!

my 2 favourite drivers in WRC are Petter Solberg and Matthew Wilson and i think for Petter to achieve 6th this weekend in a 3 year old Xsara just shows what he could do with the right car under him.

Yup, Seb will dominate the 2009 WRC. And with the S2000 rules coming it'll be interesting to see whether the WRC (2009 - 2 manufacturers registered) or the IRC (2009 - 6 manufacturers registered) is adopted as the way forward.

Is it purely his talent?
Is it the right / best car?
Combination of both?

From what I have seen, he did not exactly run away with the title last year so plenty could still happen this year.

I think his win this weekend was a real show of talent on what seems to be his least favourite surface.

Personally I cant stand the WRC any more. I lost interest around 5 years ago. And I love the fact that he(Loeb) is even more dominant then Schuey was and people still like the dude. I find that highly amusing as its the same thing. One was dominating one World Championship and the other is doing just that. To me with just TWO manufacturers left to hold it up theres no way it should still be a World Championship.

Like to think he could do it ...but its a long way to go yet ....couple feet wide couple MPH to fast into a corner ....all it takes is one mistake,is the differance between 1st & 2nd ....

I think Miko should of Won the Rally the weekend, hes certianley blew that chance but hes only 6 points behind and theres only 1 tarmac rally left this year cause of the new Rotation style calender, either of them could win it this year as theres 9 gravel rallys left. Don't think Loeb will do the clean sweep hell have an off in on of them.

The Focus is basically 2 years old so his Petter's wouldn't have been that uncompetitive.

would absolutely love to see Seb win every rally this year - he is in his own league and at the minute he can do no wrong. if the other drivers can't keep up and/or beat him then tough i say - if i were him i'd be going for it because if you were that good at the game, why would you back off and let someone else have the glory.
we've got the same situation we had when schumacher/ferrari dominated f1 - people said it was boring, but at the end of the day if that driver were "YOU" you certainly wouldn't be saying the sport was boring would you???

He will dominate the WRC again this year, that's for sure. However I don't think he will win every rally. Who knows, his car might retire, or he'll just have a bad weekend during the season

It will not happen, Mikko or Jarri-Matti will win the 1000 lakes rally.

you never know- realistically a scandinavian huy should win those types of rallies but with seb around you never know.- id like sordo to win a couple this year.
