this race could be a dud, raining earlier for the 125's, they only managed 4 laps. And its just started raining there again and the Moto GP bikes are sat on the grid getting ready.

pretty pathetic, best riders in the world cant race at night in the rain. Wouldnt a system that lifts the floodlights up be a bit better? would lift the light off the track and therefore stop it glaring off the wet surface.

not that simple. They had no rain tyres. Hence why they red flagged the 125's and didnt do the usaully trick of hop to the spare with wet tyres and carry on.

wrong, the reason they stopped the 125's and didnt run the main race was the glare created by the floodlights on a wet track mean the riders vison is almost zero, as for no wets they know they cant run in wet conditions so the tyre suppliers dont bother taking wets too the track.

As the commentators that know what they talking about (eursport) said running this as the first race only shows dorna are only bothered who willing too sign the biggest cheque too host the first race as would be alot better running near end of season when weather is more predictable.

Qatar has an average of only 8 days rain fall a year! Therefore its just lottery picking it on a day that doesnt rain.
