At last commen sense is still alive. The FIA have ruled that the Rear Diffusers on the Brawn GP, Williams and Toyota F1 Cars are legal. Maybe Ferrari, BMW, Renault and Red Bull can now think of other ways apart from protesting, to make their cars quicker

well Ferrari and Red Bull are going to have trouble using the same type of diffuser as Brawn GP because there isnt enough room around the rear suspension of their cars.

They will have to redesign the whole rear of the car. Plus they will need to use different style gearboxes.

A quick bit from the F1.com website:

Ferrari, along with three other teams, had disputed the legality of the double-decker designs, thought to be worth at least half a second per lap. Now, after the FIA’s International Court of Appeal (ICA) gave the designs the all-clear, the world champions say they have no choice but to modify the F60.
Don't see how they thought it was going to change. The cars were scrutineered twice before this hearing and passed with flying colours.

Serves them right!!! All this whining . . about time they stop complaining and just develop their cars!! Red Bull for example, dont need to do too much as there quick enough anyway, whereas Ferrari need some drastic changes, same as McLaren and Renault.
