Sorry to offend anyone that may be offended, but I was wondering what sort of prices you pay for races.

I had a free ticket after a driving experience at Silverstone, and took a family friend there. First ever car race, and first ever race track!

Had a great view from Luffields and a superb day and I now have the bug!

So, I know all tracks are different, but what sort of prices are you looking at paying for an average area on race day?

I thank everyone for any replies.

You'll be looking at around £20 for general admission on race day, and children (15 or under) can get in free. Grandstant seats are usually about £5, but all prices vary from circuit to circuit.

£20 is not bad at all for the quality of racing I saw at Silverstone! And for under 15's to get in for free is great to see as well.

Thank you Cos

The most I've payed this year was at Thruxton I spent £42.00 that was for a 2 day pass paddock and 2 days worth of grand stand seats so it was about 42 quid.

Usually i get my tickets well in advance and usually it's between £20-£30 but the circuits do increse the advance prices as the date gets nearer, for example 2 day ticket at Croft for this weekend is now £25 but if you ordered them a few weeks ago it would have cost you £22.

Hope this helps
