Just a bit of fun, seeing as after this we have a 6 week break.. Who will be going into it in the number 1 spot? Technically anyone in the top six can take the lead, although I think Collard and Thompson are unlikely to given how big the points gap is.

I'm going with Turkington, although I reckon Neal will only be a few points behind. I expect Plato, Collard and Thompson to all start closing in on Turks, Neal and Gio, given how competitive this season is turning out to be. :)

Turkington has always done well at Croft, so I reckon it will be him :)

Just got a feeling about Neal doing well. (Still supporting Plato though!):D

It has to be the Turkmeister... He had a brilliant time at Croft last year - 2 race wins, and a sackful of points.

The track will suit the Beemer, as it is quite similar to Oulton - High speed and slow speed corners, and the beemer looks after its tyres well.

Although he is carrying ballast from running 2nd in the championship, i feel he'll still have a very consistemt weekend, and accumulating more points than his title rivals

Turkington for me as he is prbally the best driver around croft out there although i believe plato will shortly follow as it is his home event:)

Its a local event for a few people:-

Bell (from Barton-On-Humber, North Lincs)
Thompson (from Harrogate
Vaulkhard (from Newcastle)
Plato (born in Newcastle)

I think Thommo will have another sterling weekend, Plato no doubt will be up there again, Vaulkhard will be hoping for a solid points finish, and Bell would love points at Croft. I fear Turkington and Neal will dominate proceedings though, with Gio pushing as hard as he possible can to catch Neal & Turk in the championship

Current points:
Neal - 111
Turkington - 109
Giovanardi - 92
Plato 87
Collard 78
Thompson - 72

For me, I hope it will be Colin Turkington. Would obviuously also like to see JP close in on the leaders too and maybe take 3rd spot from Gio. ;)

Hope JP can close in to, I think it will be Turkington who leads after tomorrow though, he always does well at Croft, and i fancy him for at least 2 podium's.

yay I get to do the sarcastic reply :p . I reckon the person who has the most points will be leading the championship after Croft lol. Sorry had to be done. And I hope Neal.
