I asked Alan Gow, so I thought I would ask everyone in the Forums too. Would anyone like to see a Driver Q&A Forum, or would you rather have an interactive live chat? Or could we have both?! :D

Maybe the Mods will see the results of this and make something happen!

I vote for driver Q&A forum, I'm not bothered about having a live chat section but I've got no objection to there being one either.

last year we had sections for questions for the drivers. It was pretty good - some were rather politically correct drivers but some were more forthcoming

Last year I thought the question and answers thing was quite good - people asked questions on the week leading up to a race and then, at the weekend, Alan did an interview in the TOCA Radio studio at the circuit. That interview was broadcast on TOCA Radio and the answers were put on the web. I thought it worked well, maybe it's something that will return when they get the whole radio situation sorted.

As for live chats, I can see them taking a bit of organising - you'd have to get the software to do it, and then get a driver and interviewer together in an evening to make sure enough people would be online to ask questions. Maybe that's something ITV could try, they do it with F1 drivers at the moment.

I also posed this question last month, I think it would be easy for the administrators to organise using instant messaging. The live Q&A thing seems to work OK on other sites.
